Welcome to the Feel Better Practice.
My name is Hope. I hold a Masters in psychotherapy and counselling and have extensive experience practising as a clinical nutritionist.
This integrated background allows me to support you at the intersection of mental health, physical health, and emotional wellbeing.

Based in Leichhardt, I offer compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for individuals navigating anxiety, burnout, and challenges with self-worth. I specialise in disordered and emotional eating, eating disorders, and body image concerns. My therapeutic work places a strong emphasis on nervous system regulation, emotional safety, and meaningful, sustainable change.

Many of the people I work with appear high-functioning on the outside, yet internally feel overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, or disconnected from themselves. Others struggle with what looks back at them in the mirror, battling long-standing patterns of self-criticism, perfectionism, distress around food, or the emotional impact of past experiences.
​
In addition to counselling, I offer clinical nutrition consultations. Like all of my treatment approaches, each nutrition consultation is evidence-based, recovery-informed, and collaborative. While therapy often remains the foundation of care, nutrition and lifestyle interventions can be particularly valuable in eating disorder recovery, energy regulation, sports performance, and metabolic health. This integrated lens emphasises emotional support, psychological safety, and metabolic restoration.

​This model supports resilience at every level, from managing anxiety and burnout to restoring steady nourishment. At the Feel Better Practice, care is approached from the inside-out and brain-down, addressing the emotional, psychological, and physical foundations for change.

​I established this practice not to "fix" you or push you to cope better, but to provide a safe, warm, and supportive space. It is somewhere your experiences can be heard and your thoughts and feelings can be freely shared, understood, and explored at a pace that feels manageable for you. In time, this fosters a more compassionate and grounded relationship with yourself.

I am deeply committed to providing therapy and nutrition services that are safe, collaborative, and effective. Above all else, they are suited to you and your progress. The ethos of the Feel Better Practice is grounded in supporting you to take small, tangible steps towards feeling better. We provide doable interventions that pave a lasting path toward living your best, emotionally, mentally, and physically.
